IUnderstanding resource consumption and fees can help you better assess the cost of on-chain transfers and swaps.
The OneKey App offers bandwidth subsidies and Energy rental services for supported TRON transfers. Its Swap feature also aggregates providers and quotes, making it easier to prepare resources and exchange assets.
1. TRON Network: Bandwidth Subsidies and Energy Rental
Bandwidth Subsidies Cover Part of a Transfer’s Resource Costs
Transactions on the TRON network primarily involve two resources: Bandwidth and Energy.
Bandwidth covers the resources required to write transaction data to the blockchain. TRX transfers, USDT transfers, and smart contract interactions all consume Bandwidth.
Energy covers the computing resources required to execute smart contracts. TRC-20 USDT transfers, swaps, and other smart contract interactions consume Energy.
Standard TRX transfers primarily consume Bandwidth, while TRC-20 USDT transfers consume both Bandwidth and Energy.
For supported TRON transfers in the OneKey App, eligible users can claim a bandwidth subsidy by following the on-screen instructions. Eligibility, claim limits, subsidy amounts, and validity periods are subject to the details shown on the claim page at the time.
Bandwidth subsidies do not include Energy subsidies and may not cover all transaction fees. Users remain responsible for costs beyond the subsidy’s amount or scope.
How Does TRON’s Free Bandwidth Recover?
Under the current TRON network parameters, each activated account has a free allowance of 600 Bandwidth points. After use, the allowance gradually replenishes over a rolling 24-hour period rather than resetting at midnight. The allowance may also change if network parameters are adjusted.
This is part of TRON’s native resource mechanism and is separate from the subsidy claim rules in the OneKey App. TRON does not provide an equivalent free Energy allowance. Users can obtain Energy by staking TRX, receiving delegated resources, or using other available methods.
For details, see Energy and Bandwidth on the TRON Network.
Paid Rental Is Available When Energy Is Insufficient
If you do not have enough Energy, you can review the Energy rental service available in the OneKey App and decide whether to use it based on the current quote and your transaction needs.
Initiate a TRON transfer and review the estimated resource requirements and fees.
If an Energy rental option is available, check the quote and which costs it covers.
Confirm the payment method and related fees, then follow the on-screen instructions.
Where USDT payments are supported, you can use USDT to pay for Energy rental. Energy rental is a paid service. Paying with USDT does not eliminate the cost. Refer to the current page for the specific quote and coverage.
When available Bandwidth or Energy is insufficient, the network may burn TRX from your account to cover the corresponding fees. If neither your resources nor the TRX available for fees are sufficient, the transaction may not complete.
Before sending, review the fee estimate on the App’s confirmation page. Final resource consumption and costs are determined by the on-chain execution result.
Account Activation Status Is Different from TRX Balance
A TRX balance of zero does not mean an account is inactive. Eligibility for subsidies or rental services depends on the account’s actual status and the information shown in the App, rather than its TRX balance alone.
2. Stablecoin Swaps: Review Available Providers, Quotes, and Fees
When swapping between stablecoins, the swap route, market liquidity, and fees all affect the final amount received.
The OneKey App’s Swap feature aggregates multiple providers and liquidity sources. It retrieves available quotes based on the selected networks, assets, and swap amount, helping you compare and choose a suitable provider.
Supported Networks and Assets Depend on Current Availability
Supported networks, asset pairs, and swap amount limits vary by provider and may change with service availability and market liquidity.
Open the OneKey App, go to Swap under Trade, select the assets and networks you want to swap from and to, and enter an amount to view currently available providers and quotes.
Whether stablecoins such as USDT, USDC, and DAI can be swapped—and which networks and fee conditions apply—depends on the results shown at the time. Networks and promotional terms from past campaigns may no longer apply.
Check Fees, Slippage, and the Estimated Amount Received
Swaps may involve OneKey service fees, third-party provider fees, and network fees. Check the quote and transaction confirmation page for the applicable fees and how they are charged.
Stablecoin swaps can also experience slippage or price differences due to changes in market prices or liquidity. The actual amount received may differ from the initial estimate.
Before submitting a transaction, check:
The assets and networks you are swapping from and to, and the receiving address.
The selected provider and swap route.
The estimated amount received, minimum amount received, and slippage settings.
Service fees, provider fees, and network fees.
Some eligible transactions may receive network fee subsidies. This does not mean that service fees or other charges are also waived. For current swap rules and fee information, see Introduction to Trade in the OneKey App.
Closing Note
OneKey continues to improve the transfer and swap experience, making it easier to prepare resources, compare quotes, and understand fees.
Download or update the OneKey App to explore currently available bandwidth subsidies, Energy rental, and swap services. Before proceeding, review the applicable conditions, quotes, and fees shown on the page, then confirm your transaction.
