Common migration or recovery methods include:
Restore with your recovery phrase: Enter the recovery phrase from your previous wallet directly on your OneKey hardware wallet to restore the wallet and accounts derived from it.
Restore or migrate with OneKey SeedCard: If your previous OneKey device supports SeedCard, you can also use a compatible SeedCard to restore or migrate your wallet to a new device.
After the migration or recovery is complete, we recommend verifying accounts and receiving addresses that you previously used before resuming normal use or transferring significant funds.
Important security reminder
We do not recommend importing a recovery phrase that was originally created or used in a mobile wallet, browser extension, or other hot wallet into a hardware wallet and treating it as a security upgrade.
Although this is technically possible, any potential exposure that occurred while the recovery phrase was generated, displayed, or used in an online environment cannot be undone simply by importing it into a hardware wallet.
To gain the full security benefits of a hardware wallet, we recommend creating a new recovery phrase directly on your OneKey hardware wallet and then transferring your assets from the old hot wallet to addresses generated by the new wallet.
1. Compare the Receiving Addresses on Your Old and New Wallets
After restoring your wallet, open the corresponding account on your new OneKey device and in OneKey App, then check its receiving address.
If you can still access the account information from your previous hardware wallet or wallet app, compare the receiving address shown on the new device with the address from your previous wallet.
For example, using Bitcoin:
If the receiving address under Account 1 on your newly restored wallet matches the corresponding Account 1 address from your previous wallet, this indicates that the account has been restored correctly.
We recommend comparing an account and address that you previously used and can reliably identify.

2. Check the Derivation Path or Address Format
If your Bitcoin account matches correctly but addresses on networks such as Ethereum or Solana are different, this does not necessarily mean that your recovery phrase was restored incorrectly.
Different wallet applications may use different derivation paths or address formats when generating accounts.
In this case, try switching the derivation path for the corresponding account in OneKey App and check whether another option generates the same address as your previous wallet.

3. Restore Accounts You Previously Created
After restoring your recovery phrase, OneKey App may initially display only the first account, such as Account 1.
If you previously created and used multiple accounts under the same wallet, those accounts have not been lost simply because they are not immediately displayed after recovery.
You can use the Add Multiple Accounts feature to quickly add the accounts you previously used.

If You Previously Used a Hidden Wallet
If you previously created a hidden wallet using a Passphrase, restoring the original recovery phrase alone will not automatically display that hidden wallet.
After restoring your wallet on the new device, enable the Passphrase feature again and enter exactly the same Passphrase you used previously.
The same recovery phrase combined with the same Passphrase will allow you to access your original hidden wallet and its accounts.

Important: Passphrases are case-sensitive and may include spaces and other characters. Even a single character difference will generate a completely different wallet.
If an address you previously used matches on the restored device, this is generally a strong indication that the corresponding wallet account has been restored correctly.
If some accounts still do not appear, check:
the derivation path or address format;
whether you previously created multiple accounts;
whether you used a Passphrase-protected hidden wallet.
In most cases, there is no need to restore the recovery phrase again until these possibilities have been checked.
