Incoming Transfer Screening is a OneKey Prime feature that helps identify source-of-funds risks in incoming transfers. Once enabled, OneKey screens eligible incoming transfers after they are confirmed on-chain. Completed results are available in transaction history. If notifications are enabled, OneKey also alerts you when High or Severe risk is detected.
This feature is useful if you receive crypto frequently, handle OTC transactions, manage merchant receiving addresses, or want to identify high-risk incoming fund sources earlier.
What is KYT?
KYT stands for Know Your Transaction. In the receiving flow, it is mainly used to check whether an incoming transfer may be linked to high-risk sources, such as sanctioned addresses, mixers, scams, stolen funds, or other abnormal on-chain activity.
OneKey Incoming Transfer Screening runs only after an incoming transfer is confirmed. Screening results are for reference only. They do not affect incoming transfers or prevent you from initiating outgoing transfers. OneKey does not use a screening result to return funds or freeze your wallet. Token issuers, smart contracts, exchanges, and relevant authorities may apply separate restrictions outside OneKey’s control.
What does Incoming Transfer Screening do?
After you enable it, OneKey checks source-of-funds risk for incoming transfers that meet these conditions:
The transaction has been confirmed on-chain.
The transaction can be clearly identified as an incoming transfer.
The transfer uses a currently supported network and token.
You are signed in to OneKey ID, have an active Prime subscription, and have enabled Incoming Transfer Screening.
Once screening is complete, you can view the result in transaction history. If notifications are enabled, OneKey also alerts you when High or Severe risk is detected. Depending on the available data, the details may show the risk level, checked time, received asset and amount, related risk factors, and a report link.
How to enable Incoming Transfer Screening
You need to sign in to OneKey ID and have an active OneKey Prime subscription first.
Method 1: Enable it from the feature introduction dialog
After you successfully subscribe to OneKey Prime, OneKey may show a one-time Incoming Transfer Screening introduction dialog. If it does not appear immediately, return to Home; the dialog may also appear there as a fallback.
Read the feature introduction.
Tap "Enable Screening".
Once enabled, future eligible incoming transfers will be screened after they are confirmed on-chain.
Method 2: Enable or disable it in Settings
You can manage this feature in Settings at any time:
Open OneKey App.
Go to "Settings".
Tap "Protection".
Find "Incoming Transfer Screening".
Turn the switch on or off.
If you are not a Prime user yet, a Prime badge will be shown here. Tap the feature entry to open the OneKey Prime page and learn more about the subscription.
How to view covered assets
On the "Protection" page, tap "Assets covered" to view the networks and tokens currently supported for risk checks.
At the time this article was written, Incoming Transfer Screening supports the following networks and tokens:
Network | Token |
TRON | USDT, USDC |
Ethereum | USDT, USDC |
BNB Chain | USDT, USDC |
Base | USDT, USDC |
Solana | USDT, USDC |
Arbitrum | USDT, USDC |
Polygon | USDT, USDC |
Optimism | USDT, USDC |
Avalanche | USDT, USDC |
The supported list may change as the service is updated. Please use the "Assets covered" list in OneKey App as the source of truth.
Where to view risk check results
After an eligible incoming transfer has been checked, you can view the result in transaction history.
History list
If an incoming transfer is detected as high risk or severe risk, the history list will show the corresponding risk label, making it easier to spot transactions that need attention.
History details
Open the transaction to view the "Source of funds check" module in the details page. This module may show:
Risk level
Last checked time
Received asset
Received amount
Risk factors
Risk report link, if available
If the same transaction contains incoming transfers for multiple supported assets, OneKey shows the risk result by asset. You can select a specific asset to view its details.
Risk levels
OneKey displays risk results using the following levels:
Risk level | Description |
No significant risk | No significant source-of-funds risk was found |
Low | Low source-of-funds risk |
Moderate | Some source-of-funds risk was detected |
High | High source-of-funds risk |
Severe | The incoming transfer is linked to high-risk fund sources |
If a transaction is still being checked or the check failed, the details page may show the corresponding status.
How to interpret screening results
OneKey currently uses MistTrack as its screening service provider. Depending on the available data, a result may include the risk level, risk category, related entity, direct or indirect exposure, hop count, exposure amount or share, and other risk details.
Each result reflects the covered networks and tokens, provider data, labels, and screening rules available at the time of the check. "No significant risk" means that no significant source-of-funds risk was identified within that scope. It is not proof that the funds are lawful or risk-free, and it does not guarantee acceptance by an exchange or other third party.
The absence of an alert is not equivalent to a "No significant risk" result. The transfer may be outside the covered scope, screening may still be in progress or may have failed, or notifications may be disabled.
Recommended actions for High or Severe results
A High or Severe result is a risk signal and does not constitute a legal conclusion. Consider the following measures while reviewing the transaction:
Where practical, pause further movement of the affected funds while reviewing the result and any available report.
Avoid immediately depositing the funds into a centralized exchange, combining them with unrelated assets, or sending a refund to a new address supplied by another party.
Retain the transaction hash, wallet addresses, timestamps, amounts, screening report or screenshots, and relevant payment or communication records.
Verify the counterparty and the stated purpose and background of the payment.
If the amount is material or the circumstances remain suspicious or unclear, consider contacting the relevant platform or obtaining guidance from a qualified compliance or legal professional, or from local authorities as appropriate.
Notes
Incoming Transfer Screening only applies to eligible incoming transfers on the networks and tokens shown under "Settings" > "Protection" > "Assets covered".
Screening runs asynchronously after the transaction is confirmed, so results may not appear immediately.
A result reflects the data and risk labels available when the check was performed. It is for reference only and does not constitute legal or compliance advice.
Within OneKey App, screening results do not affect incoming transfers or prevent you from initiating outgoing transfers. Token issuers, smart contracts, exchanges, and relevant authorities may apply separate restrictions.
A "No significant risk" result or the absence of an alert does not guarantee that funds are lawful, risk-free, or acceptable to an exchange.
A small test transfer only provides a result for that specific transfer based on the data available at that time. It does not establish the risk status of future or larger transfers.
If screening remains enabled, turning off notifications does not stop screening. Completed results remain available in transaction history, but timely alerts may not be received.
Watch-only accounts are not currently supported.
After screening is turned off, OneKey will no longer initiate checks for new incoming transfers or send new KYT risk notifications. Previously completed results remain available in transaction history.
FAQ
Why is the "Incoming Transfer Screening" switch unavailable?
Confirm that you are signed in to OneKey ID and have an active OneKey Prime subscription. If you are not a Prime user, open the OneKey Prime page to review the subscription and feature details.
Why is no screening result available for an incoming transfer?
Possible reasons include:
The transaction has not yet been confirmed on-chain.
The network or token is not currently covered.
The transaction cannot be clearly identified as an incoming transfer.
Incoming Transfer Screening was not enabled when the transfer was received.
Screening is still in progress or the check failed.
The OneKey ID session or Prime subscription is no longer active.
The current account is watch-only.
Do High or Severe results affect incoming or outgoing transfers?
Screening takes place after the incoming transfer has been confirmed on-chain. OneKey App does not use the result to block or reverse the incoming transfer, freeze the wallet, or prevent you from initiating an outgoing transfer.
Token issuers, smart contracts, exchanges, and relevant authorities may apply separate restrictions outside OneKey’s control.
Does the absence of a risk alert indicate that funds will be accepted by a centralized exchange?
The absence of an alert does not confirm that funds will be accepted by a centralized exchange. It only reflects the currently covered networks and tokens, screening status, notification settings, provider data, and screening rules available at that time.
Each exchange applies its own AML/KYT data sources, risk thresholds, KYC requirements, and review procedures. A transfer may remain subject to additional review or restrictions, and OneKey cannot guarantee the outcome.
Can a prior gas transfer from an exchange result in account restrictions?
A prior gas transfer alone does not determine whether an exchange will restrict an account. Exchanges may consider address history, direct and indirect associations, fund flows, KYC information, and subsequent deposit or withdrawal activity.
OneKey cannot predict or guarantee an exchange’s decision. Where relevant, retain the associated transaction records and contact the exchange through its official support or compliance channel.
How is email information used after signing in to OneKey ID?
Signing in to OneKey ID is used to verify Prime access, store the feature setting, and support risk notifications.
Screening uses public on-chain information such as the wallet address, transaction hash, network, and token. It does not require private keys or a recovery phrase. The email address is not included in the on-chain transaction or published on-chain by this feature. Other processing of account information remains subject to the OneKey Privacy Policy.
Will additional assets be covered?
Coverage may continue to expand. The current list is available in OneKey App under "Settings" > "Protection" > "Assets covered".
