OneKey device not being recognized on Windows systems

If your OneKey hardware wallet is not recognized when connected to the OneKey App desktop client or browser extension on a Windows system, please follow these steps for troubleshooting:

  1. Firmware Update: Ensure that your device's firmware is up to date. Refer to the "Related Reading" section for the firmware update process.

  2. Check Device Manager: Open "Device Manager" in Windows and look under "Universal Serial Bus controllers". Check if there is a device starting with the name "OneKey." If you see a yellow exclamation mark next to it, follow the solution below to update the Windows driver.

Solution

  1. Go to https://zadig.akeo.ie/ and click on "Zadig 2.9" to download the installer.

  2. Open the installer and select "WinUSB" to install.

  3. Restart your computer after the installation is complete for the changes to take effect.
