How to use OneKey Incoming Transfer Risk Monitoring (KYT)

Learn how to enable OneKey Incoming Transfer Risk Monitoring (KYT), check supported assets, and view source-of-funds risk results for incoming transfers.

Incoming Transfer Risk Monitoring is a receiving safety feature provided by OneKey Prime. After you enable it, when your wallet account receives an on-chain incoming transfer for a supported token on a supported network, OneKey checks source-of-funds risk after the transaction is confirmed and alerts you if links to high-risk sources are detected.

This feature is useful if you receive crypto frequently, handle OTC transactions, manage merchant receiving addresses, or want to identify high-risk incoming fund sources earlier.

What is KYT?

KYT stands for Know Your Transaction. In the receiving flow, it is mainly used to check whether an incoming transfer may be linked to high-risk sources, such as sanctioned addresses, mixers, scams, stolen funds, or other abnormal on-chain activity.

OneKey Incoming Transfer Risk Monitoring runs after an incoming transaction is confirmed. Risk results are for reference only. They do not block, return, or otherwise affect your incoming funds.

What does Incoming Transfer Risk Monitoring do?

After you enable it, OneKey checks source-of-funds risk for incoming transfers that meet these conditions:

  1. The transaction has been confirmed on-chain.

  2. The transaction can be clearly identified as an incoming transfer.

  3. The transfer uses a currently supported network and token.

  4. You are signed in to OneKey ID, have an active Prime subscription, and have enabled Incoming Transfer Risk Monitoring.

If high or severe risk is detected, OneKey will notify you. You can also open the transaction history details to view the risk level, last checked time, received asset, received amount, and related risk factors.

Where to view risk check results

After an eligible incoming transfer has been checked, you can view the result in transaction history.

History list

If an incoming transfer is detected as high risk or severe risk, the history list will show the corresponding risk label, making it easier to spot transactions that need attention.

History details

Open the transaction to view the "Source-of-funds risk check" module in the details page. This module may show:

  • Risk level

  • Last checked time

  • Received asset

  • Received amount

  • Risk factors

  • Risk report link, if available

If the same transaction contains incoming transfers for multiple supported assets, OneKey shows the risk result by asset. You can select a specific asset to view its details.

Risk levels

OneKey displays risk results using the following levels:

Risk level

Description

No significant risk

No significant source-of-funds risk was found

Low

Low source-of-funds risk

Moderate

Some source-of-funds risk was detected

High

High source-of-funds risk

Severe

The incoming transfer is linked to high-risk fund sources

If a transaction is still being checked or the check failed, the details page may show the corresponding status.

Notes

  • Incoming Transfer Risk Monitoring only applies to incoming transfers on supported networks and tokens.

  • Risk checks run asynchronously after the transaction is confirmed, so results may not appear immediately.

  • Risk results are for reference only. They do not affect incoming transfers or prevent funds from entering your wallet.

  • Watch-only accounts are not currently supported.

  • After you turn off monitoring, OneKey will no longer start risk checks for new incoming transfers or send new KYT risk notifications. Completed results from before it was turned off will remain available in transaction history details.
