Firmware Instructions
If you are using the BTC-Only version of the OneKey hardware wallet, you can unlock support for more networks by switching to the Universal firmware.
Once the switch is complete, the device will not only continue to support the BTC network, but also support:
EVM networks
Solana network
And more universal networks and asset features
Important Note
Before switching firmware, please make sure you have correctly backed up your Seed Phrase.
After switching to the Universal firmware, you will need to re-import your Seed Phrase into the device to continue accessing your original wallet and assets.
If you do not have a backup of your Seed Phrase, please do not proceed.
Steps
Open the OneKey App
Click the menu icon in the top right corner to enter the device management page
In the device list, select the BTC-Only device you want to switch, and enter Device Management
On the device management page, scroll down to the bottom and find Switch to Universal
Follow the prompts to complete the firmware switch
