OneKey Perps is a perpetual futures trading tool built into the OneKey App, designed to provide users with a secure, efficient, and non-custodial on-chain contract trading experience.
I. Product Positioning
OneKey Perps allows you to participate in Perpetual Futures trading directly through your wallet. The underlying trading is driven by a decentralized protocol (Hyperliquid), and assets are held in on-chain smart contracts, enabling operations without requiring real-name authentication (KYC).
Self-Custody of Assets: Your assets are always held in on-chain contracts, rather than in a platform account.
Supports Long and Short Positions: Whether the market rises or falls, you can participate in market volatility by going "long" or "short".
Leverage Supported: Leverage can be used to enhance capital efficiency, but leverage also magnifies risk.
Supported Wallets: Both the hot wallet within the App and hardware wallets can participate directly.
II. What are Perpetual Contracts?
Perpetual Futures is a derivative contract that has no expiration date. Unlike traditional futures, it never settles periodically; you can hold a position long-term as long as your account margin is sufficient.
Common advantages of perpetual contracts include: no expiration date limitation, ample liquidity, and support for hedging spot risks.
For example: If you hold spot assets but are concerned about a short-term drop, you can hedge your risk by opening an equivalent "short" position.
III. Supported Wallet Types
OneKey Perps is deeply integrated with the OneKey ecosystem, supporting participation in trading through multiple account forms:
In-App Hot Wallet: For maximum convenience, use the hot wallet directly within the App to place orders quickly.
Hardware Wallet: For maximum security, the entire series of OneKey hardware wallets is perfectly supported. All operations must be confirmed on the hardware wallet to be executed, ensuring the security of every transaction.
Watch-Only Wallet: Through a watch-only wallet, you can "observe" the contract holdings, trading frequency, and P&L of other experts in real-time.
IV. Risk Warning
⚠️ Contract trading involves high-risk derivative products. Please trade only within your means.
Leverage magnifies profits, but it also magnifies losses.
Sharp price fluctuations may trigger forced liquidation.
It is not recommended for users with no trading experience to immediately trade with high leverage. New users are advised to start with low leverage such as 2x–5x, and gradually adjust their strategy after becoming familiar with the operations.
