This article provides you with two solutions to update your OneKey Touch firmware to firmware version 4.0 or above when encountering firmware update failure shown in the OneKey App.
Solutions
Solution 1: Run with Adminstrator Mode
Shut down the OneKey App.
Right-click on the OneKey App and choose to open in administrator mode, then proceed with the version upgrade again to confirm if the error still occurs.
If the error persists, please follow the instructions in Solution 2.
Solution 2: Download Firmware from OneKey CDN
Download the OneKey Touch resource package and unzip it. Name the unzipped folder "res".
Visit OneKey CDN
Find: touch - the latest version of firmware - fullResource
For example: the current latest version is firmware-v5. The corresponding res download link is: "https://web.onekey-asset.com/hardware/touch/resource/res-4.9.0.zip".

Connect your OneKey Touch to the computer.
Access the ONEKEY DATA external hard drive in your computer.
Directly copy and paste the renamed res folder into ONEKEY DATA.(Your operating system needs to be set to "show hidden files".)
Restart the OneKey Touch hardware wallet.
Download firmware file from OneKey CDN.
Visit OneKey CDN
Find: touch - the latest version of firmware - url
For example: the current latest version is firmware-v5. The corresponding firmware file download link is: "https://web.onekey-asset.com/hardware/touch/firmware/v4.9.0/touch.4.9.0-Stable-0410-fccbac8.signed.bin".
Visit the online OneKey Firmware Update website. Choose "select from local file" and choose the downloaded bin file above.
Follow the instructions on the website to upgrade the firmware.
