This guide will walk you through the process of securing your backup Seed Phrase with the OneKey KeyTag.
What do you need to prepare?
OneKey KeyTag
Automatic center punch
A completed Recovery Sheet from your OneKey hardware wallet
Secure your Recovery Phrase copy with OneKey Keytag
Step 1: Find the words
Open BIP39-Dotmap (you can refer to the BIP39 word list in the KeyTag Quick Start Guide)
Find the dot patterns that match your Recovery Seed Phrases (as recorded on your completed Recovery Sheet)
Note: The black dots indicate where to punch holes on the OneKey KeyTag sheet
Step 2: Punch the words
Center the crosshairs and press the automatic center punch tool to punch holes.
Notes:
Each row on the KeyTag corresponds to a single word in your Recovery Phrases.
The numeric sequence (e.g., "1, 2, 3,11, 12") shown on the KeyTag indicates the specific order of your Recovery Phrases.
Backup your Passphrases on the "*" row when needed.
