Resource File Upgrade Process
1. Enter Board Mode on Touch
- Connect OneKey Touch to your computer using a data cable. Visit (Chrome browser) the OneKey Firmware Upgrade page
- Click
Enter Board Mode
on the page → Swipe to confirm on the Touch screen → Boardloader mode shall look like the attached photo below.
2.Delete the Res Folder in OneKey Touch
For Mac Users:
- Open Finder and select the disk:
ONEKEY DATA
- Keyboard shortcut
⌘ + Shift + .
to show hidden files. - Drag
res
folder in ONEKEY DATA to trash and make sure to permanently delete it in Trash.
For Windows Users:
- Open
ONEKEY DATA
in File Explorer. - Show hidden files:
- Top menu bar: View → Check "Hidden items."
- Folder Options → View → Uncheck "Hide empty drives" and "Hide protected operating system files." Check the box where it says show hidden files, folders and drives.
- Permanently delete the
res
folder (use Shift + Delete keyboard shortcut) in ONEKEY DATA
3. New Res folder
- Download in OneKey GitHub releases: [v4.9.1 Resource File]
- Unzip the downloaded package and rename the folder to:
res
and keep it somewhere easily accessible.
4. Replace Resource Files and Restart the Device
- Drag the new
res
folder into ONEKEY DATA - Unplug OneKey Touch upon the new
res
folder's complete transfer to ONEKEY DATA. - Press and hold the device power button for 10 seconds to restart the device. OneKey Touch rewrites the internal resources to the 4.9.1 version to prepare for the firmware upgrade next up.
Firmware Upgrade Process
1. Download Firmware
- Download from OneKey GitHub Releases and save it on your desktop or an easily accessible folder: [v4.9.1 Firmware File]
2. Upgrade
- Plug OneKey Touch into your computer. Via Google Chrome browser, visit: OneKey Firmware Upgrade page
- Select
Local File
→ Choose the.bin
file that you just saved as the designated upgrade file. - Follow the on-screen instructions to complete upgrade (approximately 3-8 minutes). Ensure a stable connection for the upgrade page and data cable.
