OneKey product packaging is subject to adjustments based on design, production batches, warehouse inventory, and labeling schemes. Versions with or without plastic shrink wrap, and with or without custom shipping boxes (aircraft boxes), may circulate simultaneously for a period of time.
Differences in packaging appearance do not indicate that a product is not authentic. Please do not judge authenticity solely based on box color, product renders, the presence or absence of plastic shrink wrap, or EAL6+ stickers.
Before using this guide, please note
The images in this article are provided to help identify packaging appearances and do not represent strict production date cutoff points.
Distributors and warehouses may hold inventory from different batches at the same time.
EAL6+ stickers are used to display certification information and are not anti-counterfeiting labels.
If the packaging seal is damaged, the device appears initialized, or the source is unknown, please stop using it and contact OneKey Support.
First check the outer packaging: Kraft paper "aircraft box"
In addition to the retail box printed with the product name and device image, OneKey currently adds an outer layer of kraft paper protective box, commonly known as an "aircraft box." It is mainly used for shipping protection and warehouse identification, not as separate product packaging.
The outer side of the aircraft box may have a product code or EAN barcode label;
Upon opening it, you will find the OneKey Pro, Classic 1S, or Classic 1S Pure retail box as shown later in this document.
Update Log
Starting January 2026: Switched to using kraft paper aircraft boxes. EAN barcode labels corresponding to the product were added, with specifications of 50 × 30 mm.
After June 2026: All factory-shipped packaging includes a kraft paper aircraft box; however, there may still be a small amount of earlier inventory in warehouses that does not include the aircraft box.
Two scenarios you may encounter
Current packaging: The outermost layer is a kraft paper aircraft box, which may have product information and an EAN barcode label; inside is the retail packaging box.
Small amount of old inventory: May not have a kraft paper aircraft box, so you may receive the retail packaging box directly protected by plastic wrap or other shipping materials.
Whether or not it includes an aircraft box cannot be used as an independent basis for verification. The EAN label is used for product identification and warehouse scanning and is not an anti-counterfeiting label. Please continue to verify the purchase channel, retail packaging seals, and device initialization status.
OneKey Pro packaging
Currently, all visible OneKey Pro packaging uses a black rectangular box, displaying the OneKey Pro name, a device render, and the words "Crypto Hardware Wallet" on the front.
The most obvious difference between batches is whether there is an independent EAL6+ sticker in the bottom right corner.
Packaging without EAL6+ sticker
Packaging with EAL6+ sticker
Both appearances may appear in normal circulation channels. The presence or absence of an EAL6+ sticker cannot be used as an independent basis for verification.
Classic and Classic 1S packaging
The packaging for OneKey Classic and Classic 1S is similar, but the product names on the box surface differ. When verifying, you should first confirm that the model on the box matches your order, then check that the seal is intact.

About EAL6+ stickers
Some historical packaging used an independent EAL6+ sticker in the bottom right corner of the front.
Subsequent packaging adjusted the way certification information is displayed, so the EAL6+ sticker is no longer displayed on the front of the packaging.
The EAL6+ sticker is not an anti-counterfeiting label; the lack of a label does not mean the product is a counterfeit.
Do not use the appearance of the sticker after it has been peeled off as a sole method of verification.
About outer packaging shrink wrap
OneKey Pro packaging has always included plastic shrink wrap.
The Classic series discontinued shrink wrap from September to November 2025.
Starting December 2025, the Classic series resumed the use of shrink wrap.
Currently, all OneKey hardware wallets shipped from the factory include plastic shrink wrap.
Shrink wrap is a protective packaging measure, not an anti-counterfeiting mark.
If you receive historical inventory without shrink wrap, it does not necessarily mean the product is counterfeit; please judge comprehensively based on the security seals, purchase channel, and the device's first-boot status.
Follow these steps after receiving the product
Confirm the purchase channel: Prioritize purchasing through the OneKey official store or authorized channels.
Check the outer packaging: Confirm that the box shows no obvious damage, re-gluing, or abnormal signs of opening.
The self-destructing label on the packaging should remain intact, without signs of being opened and re-bonded.
The device has a holographic anti-tamper seal; confirm that the sticker is intact and has not been peeled. The holographic tag will leave visible marks if peeled.
Initial startup: Follow official OneKey instructions to complete initialization. If the device already has a PIN, Recovery Phrase, or an existing wallet set up, please stop using it.
If you find abnormalities: Keep photos of the packaging, device, and order, and contact OneKey Support for verification.
FAQ
Why is the packaging I received not exactly the same as the images in this article?
Packaging is updated by batch, and old and new packaging may circulate at the same time. Minor differences in color, text, renders, or labels do not usually indicate a problem with the product.
Is the lack of an EAL6+ sticker proof of it being a counterfeit?
No. The EAL6+ sticker is one way of displaying certification information, not an anti-counterfeiting sticker. Please judge based on purchase channel, seal integrity, and device initialization status.
Can I verify authenticity solely based on the outer packaging?
No. The outer packaging serves only as auxiliary information. For devices with unknown sources, broken seals, or those that have already been initialized, please do not use them.
When you still cannot confirm
Please contact OneKey Support and provide your purchase channel, order number, photos of the front and back of the packaging, close-up photos of the security seals or pull strips, photos of the device's exterior, and the screen you saw during the first boot.
Do not provide your Seed Phrase, Recovery Phrase, or PIN to anyone.
