This article will guide you on how to transfer your Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency assets to your OneKey hardware wallet.
Transfer your cryptocurrency to OneKey
If you already hold cryptocurrency assets in another wallet, you can view the receiving address of the target account directly in the OneKey App, and then send your assets from the other wallet to the target account's receiving address. We also recommend withdrawing your cryptocurrency assets from centralized exchanges directly to your OneKey device.
How to withdraw cryptocurrency from an exchange
Step 1: View the full address in the OneKey App
Open the OneKey App, select the account that will receive the cryptocurrency and the correct network, and click "Receive".
Confirm using the hardware wallet; if not necessary you can click the bottom-right "I don't have device with me".
Step 2: Copy your receiving address
If you are using an account from the OneKey App software wallet as the receiving account, you can view and copy the address directly.
If you are using a OneKey hardware wallet account as the receiving account, you must confirm on the hardware device before you can view the full receiving address. Make sure the address shown on your hardware wallet matches the address displayed in the OneKey App.
After confirming they match, copy the address to the clipboard or save the address QR code.
Step 3: Initiate a withdrawal
Initiate a "withdrawal request" on the exchange, paste the receiving address from Step 2 into the withdrawal destination address field, or scan the receiving address QR code (if the exchange's software supports it). Most exchanges provide detailed "withdrawal instructions"; if this is your first time withdrawing from a cryptocurrency exchange, please refer to the exchange's withdrawal guide.
Buy cryptocurrency with the OneKey App
If you have never purchased or held any cryptocurrency assets, you can buy them directly through the OneKey App. Below are the specific steps to buy cryptocurrency assets through the OneKey App:
Step 1: Open the OneKey App
Tap "More", then in the dropdown tap "Buy", and select the corresponding currency.
Step 2: Set up your transaction
You will be redirected to a payment webpage to choose your preferred payment method (for example: Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).
Set your transaction amount, for example: buy the equivalent of 100 USD in Bitcoin.
Choose a suitable provider from the list of providers (each provider will present its own quote).
Step 3: Complete your purchase
After you set up the transaction and proceed to payment, you will be redirected to the payment interface of OneKey's partner provider; follow the on-screen prompts to complete your payment.
